Who we are
With over 1000 hectares of vineyards managed by approximately 600 winegrower members, Cantina Produttori di Valdobbiadene is today one of the most representative entities in the globally renowned production area and one of the leading companies in national oenology.
The Cantina Produttori OF Valdobbiadene represents the story of a collective enterprise born in 1952 thanks to the insight of 129 founding members. With great courage, they laid the foundations for what is now a jewel cooperative in the Italian viticulture landscape. Today, the company can rely on a true community of about 600 members, each of whom manually harvests their own small vineyard to participate, year after year, in a continually evolving story.
Our Story
The Board
Cantina Produttori di Valdobbiadene follows a classical governance structure, with a General Assembly of Members statutorily competent to approve the Annual Financial Statements and appoint the Corporate Bodies (Board of Directors, Board of Statutory Auditors, and the Audit Firm).
The Board of Directors, as the decision-making and strategic guidance body, serves a term of 3 years from the date of appointment. The appointment process for board members, mandated by the Bylaws to be conducted among the Assembly Members, involves the renewal of positions every year for one-third of its members. The President of the Board of Directors holds the legal representation of the Company, and the position of General Manager is established by the Bylaws.
